When floods hit, the most vulnerable are always the first to suffer. Women. Children. Families who had nothing to spare.
That’s who Kanara Group showed up for.
In December 2025, Kanara Group donated Rp 134 million for victims of the Sumatera floods, with focus on women and children as the most affected groups. The relief effort covered three provinces: West Sumatera, North Sumatera, and Aceh.
The donation was channeled through two trusted organizations: Salam Setara by Kitabisa and Rumah Zakat, to ensure aid reached victims quickly and accurately. Funds were focused on staple food needs and community kitchens, which were the top priority for disaster victims at the time.
For Kanara Group CEO Nyoman Anjani, this was never just a financial transaction. The donation was described as more than financial aid, it was also a form of support to accompany communities through difficult times. “We want to contribute to helping their lives become better in the midst of current hardships,” she said.
Kanara Group made clear this was only a first step in its ongoing commitment to make a real contribution to society and the country. It aligns directly with the company’s vision: Building Purposeful Life Through Innovation. And purpose, as it turns out, isn’t just about the products you build. It’s about what you do when your country needs you.
